•Nurseries and childcare for children, infant through age 4, for worship and special events.

Teachers
•Are members of FPC and attend worship regularly.
•Are screened with a background check prior to working with children or youth
•Teach approved curriculum
•Are informed regarding age characteristics and needs.
•Team teach for support, security and fellowship
•Are informed and instructed regarding procedures for sexual and/or physical abuse and medical emergencies.

Nursery Caregivers
•Meet State of Texas requirements for educational background, training, and licensing for Day Care Employees.
•Are screened for criminal background information.
•Are encouraged to belong to a religious congregation.
•Are supervised on a weekly basis by a qualified director.
•Are paired with a FPC member when available.

Parent Responsibilities
•PLEASE SIGN IN at Room 114 and update any information regarding your child, ages infant to 4 yrs, prior to worship or special events
•PRACTICE SAFETY PROCEDURES by being aware of your child’s location at all times (all children and youth need adult supervision in all public areas of the church facilities stated in our policy)
•NOTIFY the responsible adult of any unusual circumstances
•MONITORS are available for parental use during worship and church school
•CHILDREN will only be release to a parent following worship or church school
•UNATTENDED Children are at a risk for accident or injury.
