Children & Youth
Cherub Choir

Carol Choir
includes children in grades 2nd through 5th .  It meets each Sunday evening from 4:30-5:30 p.m.  The Carol Choir focuses on Worship readiness:  developing understanding of worship and the skills to participate in services with songs and hymns.

Agape Ringers
is a handbell choir open to members of the Carol Choir in grades 3-5.  During rehearsals fundamental ringing techniques and music reading are taught.  Children work together, each an important part of the ensemble. The Agape Ringers play each year at occasional services.

Youth Choir/Covenant Ringers
These groups are open to all youth in grades 6-12 regardless of musical training or experience.  Rehearsals are each Sunday of the academic year from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and alternate between Youth Choir & Covenant Ringers.

Youth Band
is a small select ensemble of 6-8 students in 6th-12th grades who are experienced musicians who want the extra challenge and are willing to give the extra time required to perform each Sunday during youth fellowship.  Audition is required.

Adult
Chancel Choir
is a group of approximately 30 volunteer adult singers with widely varying musical backgrounds.  This Choir provides the primary musical leadership for worship at First Presbyterian Church.  Its repertoire ranges from spirituals to music of the Renaissance to contemporary works; from John Rutter to J.S. Bach.  While the preparation and performance of liturgical music for worship is our primary mission, we also enjoy the performance of major works.  The Choir rehearses every Wednesday of the year from 7:00-8:30 p.m.  No audition is required.

Adult Handbell Choirs
Carillon Handbell Choir and Chancel Bells are accomplished    ensembles of handbell ringers who perform with a five-octave set of Schulmerich bells.  These groups ring in worship services and for special events throughout the year.  The Carillon rehearses on Monday at 10:00 a.m. and the Chancel Bells rehearse on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
