Austin College A Cappella Choir
in Concert at First Presbyterian
Friday, April 13
First Presbyterian Church will be hosting the Austin College A Cappella Choir in concert on Friday, April 13, so please mark this date on your calendars now and make plans to come hear them. The concert will be at 7 p.m. that evening. We know you will want to join us in welcoming the current choir to East Texas.
Of course we are also looking for volunteers to host the students in their homes overnight on the 13th. Usually 2 students stay at each host home following the concert, are given breakfast on Saturday morning, and are returned by their hosts to the church at a designated time that morning. If you would like to host students (and two is only the suggested number in case you have room for more than that at your home), please contact Karen Harris at the church (karenharris@fpclongview.org or

The combined choirs of both churches will present a sacred cantata by Theodore Dubois’ “The Seven Last Words of Christ” for soli, chorus and organ, harp and timpani. Please add this to your Holy Week activities and join us for worship at 7 p.m. at Trinity
