Vacation Bible School
Our children meet for Sunday School in the Knox Room at
9:15 AM (K-5th grade).
There is a Sunday morning nursery available (infants to age 5). The children participate in worship during Time for Young Disciples.
First Presbyterian's children are actively involved in Grace Presbytery's KidQuake and summer camps at nearby Camp Gilmont.

Our kids also take part in local mission projects and community events throughout the year.

First Presbyterian hosts Vacation Bible School each June for FPC children, friends and the community.
​
The week is full of games, worship, Bible studies, crafts and so much more!
Events
There are fun events throughout the year including the annual Easter Egg Hunt and a pizza dinner for families before the Longview Christmas Parade (FPC has a great view!).
Worship
The children's ministry participates in worship, including serving as acolytes and reading scripture during such programs as Advent's Hanging of the Greens.
